A day to celebrate the victory of life over death with the resurrection of Jesus.

He is Risen

Spring flowers bloom anew

Veil not forgotten, laid torn in two

A great promise that was solemnly made

A rolled away stone in the dawn of gray

The body not buried, no longer there

The tomb left empty, open, and bare

Christ who died for you and for me

Resurrection as truth for all to see

Our sins forever tacked to the cross

Our souls restored, no longer lost

So, rejoice in the Lord

By grace we are saved

Give thanks for His sacrifice

For the life that He gave

Answer the call

No matter what you have done

Through faith and belief all battles are won

And just like the stone,

Our darkness rolled away

To make way for new light

In Jesus' name we proclaim

He is risen

So, be free and live life set apart
