Let me tell you about a time when our ministry went on a sisterhood retreat!

Our first-ever sisterhood leadership retreat was a blast! It was a great time to spend in fellowship and get to know one another professionally and personally. The friendships that have solidified and team bonding exceeded expectations.

This year we explored the beautiful city of Pensacola, FL. Located in the panhandle, we had quite the drive before finally arriving at the beachfront AirBnB in Navarre Beach. We were tired and delirious, to say the least, but absolutely breathtaking by the beach views from our living room! Day 1 we started the morning with a beach sunrise worship at the dock, followed by a nutritious breakfast made by the sisterhood team. We all gathered at the table on the patio and blessed the food as it says in 1 Timothy 4:4, "For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude. We stayed at the beach the rest of the day, soaking up the sun with its fine, white sand and crystal-clear emerald coast waters. Tranquility at its finest!

In the evening, we got ready for our team-building exercise: Exithis Escape Room! We decided to do the most difficult room and we successfully got out in time! The supervisor complimented us on our ability to work cohesively as a team to get through the numerous riddles and puzzles. We truly saw who were natural leaders, secret strategists, quick-witted and resourceful. Unifying all our strengths played a crucial role in us being successful in escaping, which was the sole purpose of this exercise.
We later explored the historic downtown Pensacola area and even grabbed ice cream at a local favorite to wrap up the night. Day 2 we went back out to the beach for sunrise worship service, where we delved into in-depth questions and enjoyed honest conversation with one another before packing up for our return home. This retreat is one of many to come, but it's definitely one for the books. Sisterhood is not just a niche or clique, but a unique opportunity for women who seek to be a part of a God-centered community and grow in faith and long-lasting friendships.

So I ask you, reader, are you ready to join our sisterhood?
