Worship Song: Your Presence Is Heaven To Me
God will get you through the storm that you are in. He is faithful to those who love him.
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21
"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear." Matthew 6:24-27
Recently, God has been showing me the true meaning of testimony. Testimonies are built by overcoming tests and trials. When I am in the middle of a storm, sometimes it is hard to see the land that lies ahead. It is almost as if my destiny is so far forward that it is out of my reach. It's in those moments that God is calling me forward. He is reaching out his hands to me and asking me to have faith. When even the waves and the wind obey His commands, why should I not trust that He is strong enough to carry my burdens and lead me through the storm?
do NOT be afraid
do NOT have such little faith
do NOT forget the purpose
do NOT forget the will of God

The storms and difficulties of your life do NOT define your purpose. God has already declared His plans for you. As He calls you to your purpose, He is assuring you that the storm you're in can't take you under. He has authority over that storm. He has testimony waiting for you on the other side of that storm.
If you are going through a storm right now, please pray this prayer with me:
Jesus,
thank You for being my anchor through every storm of my life. Please help my heart to cling to the truth and goodness of who You are. Thank you for everything that you’re doing in my life. Thank you for this storm for it will lead me to great testimony. If I start to lose hope and lest my eyes lose sight of You, please remind me of what Jesus did on the cross so that I can be strengthened and persevere. Use this storm to heal me, change me, cleanse me, refine me, and make me new. May I grow in faith as I wait for calm to come and for You to help me overcome once again.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
