Come Into Community

Sisterhood is all about connection and community, so here are our favorite spots for group outings in the city where we live: Orlando, FL.

The first is the Axe Trap in Winter Park. It’s located at 2600 Lee Road, right off of I4. It’s a gorgeous, rustic building with many different spaces for big groups. On the left side are a few axe-throwing booths, in the middle is a full bar serving Fox Tail coffee, and on the right side, it has several couches, tables, and games. It also has a full kitchen and a unique menu.

The Tutto Café is my personal favorite! It’s a Friends-themed café through and through. It has a meal dedicated to every character and some tasty coffee. The variety of mismatched chairs and couches add to the homie environment and lots of great artwork along the walls. It’s located at 4833 New Broad Street in Baldwin Park, just a few minutes of a drive from downtown Winter Park.

Lastly, the Salty Donut is definitely worth the few extra minutes it takes to drive there. It’s at 3025 Corrine Drive, Orlando. It’s a small building with a garage-style wall that opens to their grassy patio from their indoor seating area. They have a blocked-off corner, perfect for studying or a semi-private event with friends! They have a selection of house-made donuts and coffee that will always hit the spot!

Community is what the Sisterhood team is all about, we’re here to inspire and bring women together. Finding new places to go and enjoying each other's company can be difficult, especially if you’re not ready to invite someone to your home. With the list, we hope you can find a place or two to spend time with the people you love, in a space that you feel comfortable in. Here’s a verse to take with you about the importance of community,

“Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel,” Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬.
